Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actor. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett as well as her sister, and their mother moved into St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. Their father separated from their mom. Bassett was inspired to become an actor after watching the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980), in African American study, and an honorary doctorate (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1981. Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead roles in the film Ramonda in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
